ATI Theater™ 600 Pro introduces features that dramatically improve video and audio quality for desktop PC and notebook TV tuner products. This single-chip solution delivers quality rivaling premium home theater systems at a fraction of the price of other ASICS. It offers a high level of integration and flexibility in a worldwide front-end analog decoder.

ATI Theater 600 Pro delivers remarkable visual detail, software video encoding, digital audio and PVR functions in a single chip. The world-wide IF demodulator supports PAL, SECAM and NTSC analog video decode, and has the option to support digital television broadcasting standards from around the world. With an indoor antenna, terrestrial DTV is a reality.

The 12-bit video processing path including front-end processing and audio decoder with innovative motion compensated noise reduction ensures clean, rich and vibrant signal processing. The software video audio MPEG encoder offers HDTV quality audio and video found only at the high end of consumer electronic products.

Integrated support for PCI, PCI Express x1 and USB 2.0 provides maximum design and price point flexibility for product development. ATI Theater™ 600 Pro designs deliver a breathtaking HDTV signal while reducing costs and board real estate.
