Overview
Set-Top-Wonder Xilleon, AMD’s fourth-generation reference
platform, has been created as a complete reference design
for consumer
electronics manufacturers developing low-cost, high performance
digital video consumer devices. Set-Top-Wonder Xilleon
incorporates
AMD’s Xilleon 220, which is the most advanced and highly integrated
system-on-chip in the consumer market.
- Set-Top-Wonder Xilleon includes all the components
necessary for manufacturers to design a broad range of
digital consumer
devices including:

- Cable, Satellite, Terrestrial, DSL, and IP set-top
boxes
- TVs with integrated digital receivers
- Wireless and Ethernet TV-enabled webpads (TVpads)
- Home media gateways / servers
- DVD players and PVRs (personal video recorders)

Set-Top-Wonder Xilleon allows designers to access virtually
all the capabilities of the Xilleon 220 on a single board,
and
also allows easily development of PCI cards and network interface
modules to enable customization appropriate to their market.
