Q1: What does the Remote Wonder™ allow me to do?
 
A1:
  • Wireless remote control for your PC, including your mouse pointer!
  • Using RF technology, the Remote Wonder works through walls. It does not need to be pointed at the receiver.
  • Control many Windows applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Internet Explorer
  • Customize programmable keys for up to 6 individual applications
 
Q2: Will the Remote Wonder™ work if I don't have an Radeon™ or newer graphics board?
 
A2: The Remote Wonder™ offers mouse and application control for all PCs (with a free USB port) regardless of what graphics are on-board your desktop or notebook PC.

Some of the buttons on the remote, such as TV and DVD, are exclusively used on ATI graphics board products


 
Q3: What additional features does the Remote Wonder™ offer if I have a Radeon™ family graphics card?
 
A3: If you have a Radeon™ family graphics card, including the Radeon™, Radeon™ 7000, Radeon™ 7200, Radeon™ VE, Radeon™ 8500 cards, you get full mouse pointer control and will also enjoy full control of ATI's Multimedia Center Software used in ATI's ALL IN WONDER® family of products. For example, you will be able to control your audio and video playback, as well as full DVD application control, including chapter skipping, volume and setup options from the Remote Wonder™.

Please note that with respect to ATI's ALL IN WONDER ® family of products, full Remote Wonder™ support is built into MMC 7.5 version and later. Earlier versions of the MMC do not fully support the Remote Wonder™. Not all buttons will operate as expected.


 
Q4: Can the Remote Wonder™ be used with my All-in-Wonder® Radeon™?
 
A4: Yes, the Remote Wonder™ is optimized for use with the All-in-Wonder® Radeon™ line of products, and will offer full control of all ATI Multimedia Center software functions, including DVD and TV features


 
Q5: Can the Remote Wonder™ be used with my RAGE™ PRO based All-in-Wonder PRO™?
 
A5: Currently, the install CD bundled with the Remote Wonder™ will only install the ATI Multimedia Center software on ATI's Radeon™ based or newer graphics boards. Customers with older ATI graphics boards or non-ATI graphics boards will only be able to use the Remote Wonder™ to control their mouse and standard multimedia applications such as Windows Media Player and Microsoft PowerPoint.


 
Q6: Will the Remote Wonder™ control my TV WONDER™ product?
 
A6: The Remote Wonder™ will control limited features of ATI's TV WONDER™ product, such as channel number entry and volume control.


Q7: Will the Remote Wonder™ interfere with my wireless phone or garage door opener?
 
A7: No, the Remote Wonder™ operates on the 433Mhz frequency, which is free for use in North America and Europe.

Q8: What happens if there is more than one Remote Wonder™ controller close to my receiver?
 
A8: Each remote control can be configured to one of 16 different ID values to avoid any confusion between the multiple remotes. You must configure both your remote control and the installed software provided to you in the Remote Wonder™ package.


 
Q9: Which operating systems will the Remote Wonder™ work with?

A11: The Remote Wonder™ costs $49.99 USD ($79.99 CDN) plus shipping and handling (Canadian residence will be charged applicable taxes).

A12: Currently, the Remote Wonder™ is available for shipment to Canadian and US residents only


Q13: How do I order the Remote Wonder™?
 
A13: Complete the following online form. You will receive a confirmation of your order via email once your online form has been processed by ATI. Please ensure that you have provided a valid e-mail address.


Q14: How do I follow-up if I haven't received my Remote Wonder™ within 10 business days?
 
A14: An acknowledgement web page will immediately follow your online order submission. An email confirming your order has been processed will then follow. If you have not received your new Remote Wonder™ within ten business days of your online order confirmation email, simply reply to that email requesting details of your order or telephone ATI Customer Service using the phone numbers provided here http://www.ati.com/support/index.html. We will track your shipment and advise you of the delivery date.


Q15: I'm a reseller or system integrator. Can I participate in this program?
 
A15: This product offering is limited to end user customers.


Q16: How do I return the Remote Wonder™ if I'm not happy?
 
A16: If you are not satisfied with your new Remote Wonder™ you can return it to ATI within 30 days for a full refund of your purchase, minus all shipping costs.
