What is Hydravision™?
Hydravision™ is ATI's multiple monitor management software, which allows the user to manage the display of multiple windows/applications across two monitors. This software also provides key features that increase user's productivity.

What products support Hydravision™?

ATI has introduced some new and exciting features in Hydravision™ 3.0. For example:

• Move-to-monitor feature
• Internet Explorer extension

What are "Hot Keys"?
Using "Hot Keys" can increase productivity by allowing a certain feature to run when you select a keyboard button. For example, you can customize the F1 function key to gather all your opened windows into one monitor. This in return clears your desktop on one monitor with a simple press of the key and without having to select each window/application and moving it individually.

What does "Multi-Desktop" mean?
One of the main advantages of Hydravision™ is to have the ability to customize different desktops. With a simple click of your mouse or the scroll wheel, you can select 9 different desktops. For example:

• Desktop # 1, can have Internet Explorer window on one monitor and email window on the second monitor.
• Desktop # 2, could be configured to have a spreadsheet application window across both monitors.

In the example above, you can easily switch between the desktops with your scroll wheel, a mouse click on the "Multi-Desk" icon or a hot key. This saves the user from constantly re-arranging windows over two monitors.

Do both monitors need to be the same physical size?
No, you can mix or match. For example, you can use a 21" and a 15" monitor. One popular configuration is to have your email application on the 15" monitor and use the 21" monitor for running your main application.

Do both monitors need to run at the same resolution?
Yes, in Windows 2000 and Windows NT4.0

How do I buy Hydravision™?
Hydravision™ is standard software packaged with all ATI graphics boards that support dual monitors and is, therefore, provided free of charge.
