Using Fog Coordinates on the Radeon®

The RadeonFogCoord sample uses EXT_fog_coord to render a height-based fog effect. A random rolling terrain is generated and the height of the terrain as well as the z distance are used to compute the fog coordinates.

RadeonFogCoord Controls
  • C - Toggle fog coordinate use
  • F - Cycle between GL_EXP, GL_EXP2, GL_LINEAR, and no fog
  • R - Regenerate new terrain
  • W - Toggle Wireframe overlay
  • [space] - Toggle moving terrain
  • [ESC] - Quit
